Low blood pressure or hypotension refers to the fall in blood pressure below normal. It is a condition in which the action of the heart, in forcing the blood through the arteries, is weak. This is a direct outcome of a weakened and devitalised system.
Low blood pressure symptoms
Lethargy, weakness, dizziness
The patient with chronic low blood pressure may complain of lethargy, weakness, fatigue, and dizziness. The patient may faint, especially if arterial pressure is lowered further when he assumes an erect position. These symptoms are presumably due to a decrease in perfusion of blood to the brain, heart, skeletal muscle, and other organs.
Low blood pressure causes
Faulty nutrition, Malnutrition
The most important cause of low blood pressure is faulty nutrition. It makes the tissues forming the walls of the blood vessels over-relaxed, and flabby or streched. This results in less supply of oxygen and nutrients to the tissues. Malnutrition can result from a diet deficient in calories, proteins, vitamin C, or almost any one of the B vitamins.
Loss of blood, slow internal bleeding
Sometimes the blood pressure falls rapidly because of loss of blood. Low blood pressure may also develop gradually because of slow bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, or bladder.
Emotional instability
Emotional problems are a far more frequent cause of low blood pressure. To a lesser degree, prolonged disappointment and frustration may result in a subnormal blood pressure.
Low blood pressure home remedies
Low Blood Pressure treatment using Beetroot
The juice of raw beetroot is one of the most effective home remedies for low blood pressure. The patient should drink a cup of this juice twice daily for treating this condition Considerable improvement will be noticeable within a week.
Low Blood Pressure treatment using Indian Spikenard
The herb Indian spikenard is another effective home remedy for low blood pressure. It should be taken in doses of thirty to forty grains with a pinch of a little camphor and cinnamon (dalchini). An infusion can also be prepared by steeping 15 to 20 gm of the herb in 250 ml of boiling water, and taking it thrice a day.
Low Blood Pressure treatment using Epsom Salts Bath
Hot Epsom salt bath are one of the simplest remedy for low blood pressure. An Epsom salt bath is prepared by dissolving one to one and half kg of commercial Epsom Salt in an ordinary bath of hot water. The patient should remain immersed in the bath for ten to twenty minutes. This bath should be taken just before retiring to bed, and care should be exercised not to catch a chill afterwards.
Low Blood Pressure treatment using Nutrients
Protein, vitamin C, and all vitamins of the B group have been found beneficial in the prevention and treatment of low blood pressure. Of these, pantothenic acid is of particular importance. Liberal use of this vitamin alone often helps in raising the blood pressure. A diet which contains adequate quantities of complete proteins, B vitamin and, particularly, the nutrients that stimulate adrenal production, quickly normalizes low blood pressure.
Low Blood Pressure treatment using Salt
The use of salt is valuable in low blood pressure. Until the blood pressure reaches normal levels through proper dietary and other remedies, it is essential that the patient should take salty foods and half a teaspoon of salt in water daily.
Low blood pressure diet
Exclusive fruit diet
The treatment for low blood pressure should aim at rejuvenation of the whole system. To begin with, the patient should adopt an exclusive fresh fruit diet for about five days, taking three meals a day of fresh fruity fruits at five-hourly intervals.
Milk and fruit diet
Thereafter he may adopt a fruit and milk diet for two or three weeks. After the fruit and milk diet the patient may gradually embark upon a well balanced diets consisting of seeds nuts and grains with emphasis on fresh fruit and raw vegetables. Further period of all fruit diet followed by a milk and fruit diet may be necessary every two or three months in some cases, depending on the progress being made.
Other Low blood pressure treatment
Warm-Water enema treatment
A warm-water enema should be used daily to cleanse the bowels during the first few days of the treatment, and afterwards, if necessary. Those who are habitually constipated should take all the possible steps for its eradication. Daily dry friction and sponging should be undertaken by those suffering from low blood pressure.
Light walking, cycling, swimming and Breathing exercises
They should undertake breathing and other light exercises like walking , swimming and cycling. The patient should take sun and air baths and spend as much time as possible in the fresh air.
Avoid excessive work, anxiety
All living habits which tend to enervate the system, such as overwork, excesses of all kinds, needless worry, and negative thinking must be eliminated as far as possible.

Good digestion
1. Eat in order of digestibility.
You should eat the easiest to digest foods first in each meal and slowly move towards the more complex. Think of a highway, if the slowest cars are in front they'll hold up the faster cars behind them, causing a traffic jam. The same goes for your food. Eat those fastest to digest first and save the tougher to digest foods for the second half of your meal.
Here are the time sequences for different food groups:
Water; Juices: 20-30 minutes
Fruits, Smoothies, Soups: 30-45 minutes
Vegetables: 30-45 minutes
Beans, Grains, Starches: 2-3 hours
Meat, Fish, Poultry: 3 or more hours
2. Drink warm or hot liquids with your meal.
Ice cold drinks can slow down the digestive process, think of it as putting ice on a muscle. The muscle stiffens and does not function as well. Warm or room temperature water, juice, or decaf tea will encourage proper digestion. (Just remember the traffic jam – drink liquids prior to meals)
3. Eat at regular meals times.
It is important to be regular with what you eat and the times of day you eat. Eating similar food groups and at similar times each day has a regulating effect on your digestive system. Regular in means regular out.
4. Be conscious of what you eat and your portion sizes.
Over consumption is the number one cause of indigestion. Our brain signals the feeling of fullness about ten minutes after we're actually full. So stop eating before you are full. Odds are you'll feel full ten minutes later!
5. Chew your food completely and don't talk while eating.
Incomplete chewing and talking while eating can cause premature swallowing. Our digestive systems are not designed to digest large pieces of food, when we put large pieces in our stomachs it can lead to incomplete digestion (aka: digestive discomfort).
6. Relax while eating your meal.
Eating when you are rushed increases your stress and slows down the digestive process. Create a nice calming atmosphere when eating and make sure you can devote time to eating.
7. Practice good posture.
When you slouch or hunch over extra pressure is put on the digestive organs in your abdomen. This extra pressure can cause poor digestion. You should practice sitting with your shoulders back and your chin tucked in. This will allow more room for the digestive organs and will help improve digestion.
8. Don't eat late at night.
Our bodies, including our digestive system, slow down in the evening hours as it gets ready to rest and rejuvenate. When we put food into our stomachs at these late hours there are not enough digestive enzymes to properly digest it. This undigested food sits in your stomach and will often disturb your sleep.
9. Take a brisk walk after eating.
Forget about not be active for 30 minutes after each meal. Increased physical activity actually helps jumpstart your digestive system and increases the production of digestive enzymes. This will lead to more complete digestion of your food and less digestive discomfort!
10. Try a spinal twist.
Spinal twists allow excess toxins in the digestive system to be released, which has a calming effect. While in a cross legged sitting position, slowly turn to the right and hold while taking 5 deep breathes then repeat this process on the left side

Fun, games and decoration for kids party
Before planning party games and fun make sure all these:
Everyone is a Winner
Parties are a time to have fun, which means all guests should go home smiling. If you are going to provide prizes, try to reward all players just for participating or avoid prizes all together. Especially when entertaining very young children who have yet to develop a grasp on sportsmanship. Consider playing most, if not all games without prizes but everyone gets a candy or sticker. When all of the games are complete...everyone receives their goody bags.
Be Flexible
If you sense that a party game is not going well, let it go and move on to the next activity. Or, make a quick adaptation to an existing game. If your party games are dependant on the weather...be prepared to take the party indoors if necessary
Be ready : Be prepared before start the games ,keep ready all the things ready related to party games.
Party Games and fun for kids :
Pass the Orange
Arrange for teams of about 8 to stand in a line, one behind the other (arranged boy, girl, boy,...). Give each team an orange which the first person should tuck under his chin. This should be passed to the person behind. When the orange gets to the last person, they come to the front of the line and start again. The winnnig team is the first one which gets their starting person to the front again.
Balloon Pop
Place notes inside un-inflated balloons,1 or 2 of the notes should indicate that this balloon is a winner. Inflate the balloons and hang them around. Let each child pick a balloon then pop it to see if their note is a winner
Sounds
Seat all the children in front of you and tell them that you will be calling out the names of various animals. The children must then make the sound the animal makes, instantly. For example, you say something like, I wish I had a little dog! and point to a child. The child must immediately bark. You could then say cow, duck, cat, pig, cock, horse. You could even use words like water (splash), or boxing (dishum). Basically, call out words which have sounds, and the child must only make the sound when you point at him or her. If the child hesitates, he or she is out!
Ticklin' Feather

Musical Chairs
The old favourite. With one fewer chairs than people, a short snippet of music is played while the people move around the room. When the music stops everyone tries to sit on a vacant chair. (Only ONE person per chair) The person who doesn't find a chair is out. One chair is taken away and the game continues until only one person (The Winner) is left.

Some more simple ideas for fun
*Adapt traditional party games to match your theme. For instance, at an Elmo party, play "Pin the Nose on Elmo" and "Elmo Says" (instead of "Simon Says").
* Create a tower from toy blocks and let the kids knock it down…again…and again!
* Play a few rounds of “Ring Around the Rosy” with the guests and their parents.
*Chasing bubbles is a favorite toddler activity! Turn on a bubble machine or have other adults help blow bubbles and let the children catch them.
*Create two or three separate play stations by laying blankets on the floor or in the yard. Put a different type of toy on each blanket, such as balls on one and blocks on another. You could also use stuffed animals, dolls, cars, or picture books. Let the children move from one blanket to another.
Leader of the Band -
Stage a music parade with you and the birthday child leading the way! Play some fun music in the background and hand out toy musical instruments to the children. Then lead them in a parade around the room as they make music together.
Bean Bag toss
Make five bean bags by filling baby socks with dry beans and tying the ends closed. Set out a plastic bucket, a toy grocery cart or a laundry basket for a target. Show the children how to toss the bean bags into the target, or simply walk up and drop them in. Make sure every child is a winner by allowing them to walk as close to the target as necessary.
Clothespin Search Game
Before the party, attach clothespins to sofa cushions, curtains, and other places in the room at toddler height. Then let the children search for all the clothespins.
Wagon Rides
Place a colorful blanket and a variety of stuffed animals in a child’s wagon. Tie balloons to the back and pull the guests around the room or yard for rides. If throwing a theme party, make sure the stuffed animals fit the theme (a Tickle-Me-Elmo for an Elmo theme, for example).
Baby Art
Set out paper or white paper plates and child safe paint. Dip each child’s hand into the paint and press it onto the paper, leaving a little handprint. Label each paper with the child’s name and let guests take them home at the end of the party.
Note :
All these games which i like most n saw in few partys held in my place and i found some ideas by surfing in the internet..
All together i am gathering in one place for easy surfing, to get idea about your party plan..
